Introducing OECP Research Group

OECP stands for Open Energy Cloud Platform, which is a research group based on the government's third basic energy plan. The main contents of the energy basic plan are the paradigm shift from supply-centric to consumption-structure-innovation center, the two-way energy network to enhance consumer-tailored services, the establishment of energy big data platforms, and the energy cloud and networks that can respond proactively to energy demand.
The core of the energy cloud and network is the expansion of distributed, participatory energy sources using renewable and fuel cells.
In addition, the goal of the third plan is to increase the renewable energy share by 30 to 35 percent by 2040, which must eliminate the intermittent and uncertainty of supply, which is a characteristic of renewable energy.
Our research team proposes the design and introduction of the next generation of energy servers that will fundamentally address this.
