President Sue Moon

Our Open Energy Cloud Platform (OECP) research group was established to build energy cloud technology, a key technology in the government's third basic energy plan, through the development of an open energy cloud platform based on next-generation complex energy servers.

Our research team is composed of eight departments from three universities, each of which is one of the best minds at home and abroad, boasting outstanding competence and expertise in each field. With these researchers, we will contribute to localization by securing core source technologies for each team, aiming to span from micro/middle/macro level to entire energy and cloud operations. In addition, we will open all software developed by our research group as an open source for easy use in the domestic industry.

To achieve these goals, we will carry out various research initiatives. We plan to gather information through participation in the best academic competitions, journal reviewer and editor activities at home and abroad, and cooperate with foreign companies and domestic industries to enhance our technical skills.

Through these attempts, we expect to be able to capture both the domestic energy needs and the international competitiveness of the new technology, the energy cloud, and contribute to the nation through various technologies developed in the process and fostering a number of master and Ph.D. personnel.

Thank you.
